Rivergate Campground is located on the Thornapple River outside of Hastings, Michigan with easy access to recreational Thornapple Lake. Bring your family, your boat, and your pets, too! Enjoy campfires on the river for a weekend, or reserve a site for the whole season!

Seasonal: May 1 - October 15

Bring your RV and set up camp for the season!

Just $2,000 for 5 1/2 months with camper responsible for electric charges.

Rivergate Family Campground offers friendly neighbors and large lots in a small-scale setting right on the river. Choose from riverbank or upland sites - every camper has a boat dock and access to the river! We offer:

30 and 50 amp electric service - let us know what you need.

Water, sewer and a dump station.

Full restrooms and private shower facilities.

Fire pits and picnic tables on each site. You can purchase firewood onsite, but please do not bring your own. We are committed to preventing the spread of invasive species.

For campers - free picnic shelter for gatherings. Just call to reserve.

Walk-in access to events at Historic Charlton Park.

Canoe, kayak and tube rentals through U-Rent-Em livery.

Leashed pets are welcome! We have lots of room to walk your dogs. Please be considerate and clean up after your pet.
